Community College of Baltimore County. CCBC’s 20-week dental assistant workforce training certificate program is offered at two campuses in the county. The Dundalk campus is east of Baltimore, while the Randallstown campus is a little farther out, in the suburbs northwest of the city. Randallstown is near the Liberty Reservoir and many other natural areas and parks, but it is a long commute from Baltimore. The Dundalk campus is more central and closer to city resources and the water, situated on a peninsula in the Chesapeake Bay.
All-State Career College. All-State has a campus in Baltimore that is located just east of the city and very close to the water at the Port of Baltimore. The dental assistant program has an “expanded function” curriculum. Students learn how to manage emergencies, use computer software common in dental offices, perform X-rays and work with dental prosthetics, among other skills. Graduating from this program, you’ll have a well-rounded education that prepares you to work with any dentist.
